Ceragem, a global healthcare company, was honored with the Presidential Award by the Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The award was held in COEX, Samseong-dong on December 5th during the 53rd Trade Day.

Hosted by the Korean International Trade Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Trade Day is a government-sanctioned commemorative day for the balanced development of trade and for strengthening the willingness to trade. During the event, awards are given to those who contribute to exporting goods. Ceragem was recognized as contributing to export through the exploration of foreign markets and stimulation of commerce. General Executive Director Kim Sang-sik received the Minister of the Trade, Industry and Energy Award (in the area of business management) while staff member Mok Ho-yeong was honored with the Presidential Award (in the area of production). Ceragem also received the $70 Million Export Tower Award in 2008. Its subsidiary Ceragem H&B was honored with an Export Tower Award in 2015 as well.

Since its inception in 1998, Ceragem has developed automatic heat massagers, improving the market centered on manually operated massagers. Beginning in 1999 with the United States, Ceragem has secured over 2,500 distribution networks (branch stores) in 70 countries including China, as well as those in Europe and South America.

An official of Ceragem noted: “We will build the foundation to achieve export over $100 million through the exploration of foreign markets by Korean business models Naviel and Club Balance 5 as well as through customer-oriented business principle and creating shared value. We will strive to achieve the $100 Million Export Tower Award in 2017.”
